Abstract
Questioning technique is an important technique that can improve students’ learning. It can be used in teaching nursing by applying into all teaching styles and can be used as a tool to assess students and instructors as well. Instructors should be aware of the benefits of using questions. They should prepare yourself and use appropriate questions for students by studying the curriculum, course syllabus and the differences of each students to choose effective questions. This article is a teaching experience of the author to be a guideline for nursing instructors in applying questioning technique to the class. The content consists of using questioning technique in the 21st century education management, the level of questions classified by the cognitive domains, the teaching guidelines by using questioning, the motivation technique to encourage students to answer the questions, and the teaching experience by asking students to ask questions.
