การเสริมสร้างภูมิคุ้มกันทางจิตใจของครอบครัวที่มีต่อผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะเรื้อรัง

Abstract
The research and development used quantitative and qualitative methods. The purposes of this study were to study the mental health of elderly with chronic conditions, the factors of family functioning’s member for psychological support to elderly with chronic conditions and to compared the knowledge, attitude and skills of family functioning’s member for psychological support to elderly with chronic conditions before and after participated in the training model. The subjects consisted of 200 elderly with chronic conditions who were the patients at Health Promoting Hospital, Thabho Phitsanulok and 200 family’s member of the elderly with chronic conditions. The quantitative
instruments were Thai Mental Health Indicators: TMHI.15, family functioning’s member for psychological support to elderly with chronic conditions questionnaire and in depth interview, the training model of family functioning’s member for psychological support to elderly with chronic conditions and qualitative instrument was in-depth interview. Quantitative data were used percentage, confirmatory factor analysis and t – test dependent. Content analysis was used for qualitative data. The results of the study were as follows : The elderly with chronic conditions had low mental health in 37.50 %, had normal mental health in 31.50 % and had high mental health in 31%.
The confirmatory factor analysis significantly confirmed that family functioning’s member for psychological support to elderly with chronic conditions could be characterized into four factors : communication, affective involvement, problem solving and activity. These four factors were high factor loading at .05 level. Statistically significant differences in the total of knowledge, attitude and skills of family functioning’s member for psychological support to elderly with chronic conditions existed before and after participated in the training model at .05 level. (knowledge increased from 2.22 to 3.41, attitude increased from 2.66 to 3.50 and skills increased from 2.22 to 3.41)
