ความสามารถในการทำงานและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์สูงอายุในโรงพยาบาลนพรัตนราชธานี

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการทำงานของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์สูงอายุและปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความสามารถในการทำงานของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์สูงอายุ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 45 ปีขึ้นไปที่ปฏิบัติงานประจำอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาลนพรัตนราชธานี จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 285 คน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถามดัชนีชี้วัดความสามารถในการทำงานฉบับภาษาไทย และแบบสอบถามปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความสามารถในการทำงานซึ่งมีค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาของแบบสอบถามเท่ากับ 0.99 และค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาค เท่ากับ 0.81 คะแนนความสามารถในการทำงานนำเสนอเป็นค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ตัวแปรแยกประเภทนำเสนอเป็นร้อยละและความถี่ วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความสามารถในการทำงานด้วยสถิติพหุถดถอยโลจิสติก และนำเสนอในรูปแบบ crude และ adjusted odds ratios (ORs)
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า บุคลากรทางการแพทย์สูงอายุมีดัชนีชี้วัดความสามารถในการทำงานเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ 38.8 คะแนน (ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน 4.50) และส่วนมากมีระดับความสามารถในการทำงานอยู่ในระดับดีร้อยละ 58.2 โดยปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับความสามารถในการทำงานที่ไม่ดี ได้แก่ กลุ่มอาชีพแพทย์ (ORadj = 12.36, 95% CI = 2.15 - 71.00) เคยมีประวัติการสูบบุหรี่ (ORadj = 11.43, 95% CI = 1.78 - 73.36) มีสิ่งแวดล้อมในการทำงานที่ไม่ดีในด้านการยศาสตร์ (ORadj = 4.22, 95%
CI = 1.80 - 9.90) และมีความขัดแย้งกันกับบุคคลในครอบครัว (ORadj = 2.63, 95% CI = 1.14 - 6.06) ส่วนปัจจัยป้องกันที่มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับความสามารถในการทำงานที่ไม่ดี ได้แก่ เพศชาย (ORadj = 0.06, 95% CI = 0.01 - 0.32) ระดับการศึกษาสูงสุดสูงกว่าปริญญาตรี (ORadj = 0.37, 95%
CI = 0.14 - 0.93) และรายได้ต่อเดือนมากกว่าทุก 1 พันบาท (ORadj = 0.95, 95% CI = 0.92 - 0.99) ดังนั้นจึงควรให้ความสำคัญกับปัญหาบุคลากรทางการแพทย์สูงอายุ เพื่อเพิ่มความสามารถในการทำงานให้ดีขึ้น โดยมีมาตรการป้องกัน รับมือ หรือจัดการกับปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความสามารถในการทำงานของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์สูงอายุ เช่น จัดโครงการรณรงค์ให้เลิกสูบบุหรี่ ปรับปรุงสิ่งแวดล้อมในการทำงานให้ดีขึ้น โดยเฉพาะในด้านการยศาสตร์ เป็นต้น
