บทคัดย่อ
โรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนาสายพันธุ์ใหม่ 2019 (Coronavirus disease 2019) หรือโรคโควิด-19 (COVID-19) เป็นโรคติดต่ออันตรายซึ่งเป็นโรคอุบัติใหม่ที่แพร่ระบาดได้ง่าย เกิดขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็วและรุนแรงไปทั่วโลก ส่งผลกระทบเป็นวงกว้างทั้งทางด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ โดยเฉพาะด้านจิตใจนั้นก่อให้เกิดความรู้สึกหวาดกลัวและวิตกกังวลเป็นอย่างมากทั้งในประชาชนทั่วไป ผู้ติดเชื้อ ผู้ที่สงสัยจะติดเชื้อ ญาติผู้ติดเชื้อ รวมไปถึงบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ ปฏิกิริยาที่เกิดขึ้นเกิดจากหลายสาเหตุ เช่น การขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา (COVID-19) การปฏิบัติตัวที่ไม่ถูกต้อง การไม่สามารถปรับตัวกับปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้น รวมไปถึงการขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจในการดูแลด้านร่างกายและจิตใจตนเอง พยาบาลเป็นบุคลากรทางสาธารณสุขที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการดูแลผู้ป่วยเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการทางด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ บทความนี้จะนำเสนอเกี่ยวกับโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา (COVID-19) การดูแลและบทบาทพยาบาลในการดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา (COVID-19) และกรณีศึกษาในหอผู้ป่วยแยกโรค
