บทคัดย่อ
การเคลื่อนย้ายฉุกเฉินทางการแพทย์ในอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันและก๊าซธรรมชาตินอกชายฝั่งมีค่าใช้จ่ายสูงและมีความเสี่ยง การศึกษาในต่างประเทศ พบว่า สาเหตุของการเคลื่อนย้ายฉุกเฉินทางการแพทย์ส่วนใหญ่เป็นการบาดเจ็บ โดยเฉพาะการบาดเจ็บที่มือและดวงตา อย่างไรก็ตามปัจจุบัน พบว่า การเจ็บป่วยมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มมากขึ้นสวนทางกับการบาดเจ็บที่ลดลง สาเหตุส่วนใหญ่ของการเจ็บป่วยเกิดจากโรคระบบทางเดินอาหาร โรคทางทันตกรรม และโรคหัวใจและหลอดเลือด ตามลำดับ ในด้านอายุ พบว่าผู้ปฏิบัติงานที่อายุน้อยได้รับการเคลื่อนย้ายเพื่อการรักษาเนื่องจากการบาดเจ็บจากการทำงานมากกว่าผู้ปฏิบัติงานอายุมาก ในขณะที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานอายุมากมักได้รับการเคลื่อนย้ายจากการเจ็บป่วยมากกว่า
ในประเทศไทยยังไม่มีการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับสาเหตุและค่าใช้จ่ายของการเคลื่อนย้ายฉุกเฉินทางการแพทย์ในอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันและก๊าซธรรมชาตินอกชายฝั่ง
