Organizational Factors Related to Quality Assurance Practices of The Royal Thai Navy College of Nursing

Abstract

            The purposes of this descriptive research were to study 1) organizational factors in quality assurance practices 2) quality assurance practices, and 3) organizational factors related to quality assurance practices of the Royal Thai Navy College of Nursing. The samples were 28 nurse instructors and assistant nurse instructors of the Royal Thai Navy College of Nursing in academic year 2017. The research instruments were questionnaires which included the following: 1) demographic data 2) organizational factors in quality assurance practices (Reliability = 0.95) and 3) quality assurance practices. (Reliability = 0.92). Data were analyzed using frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviations, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient.
            The results revealed that:
            1. Overall organizational factors related to education quality assurance practices of the Royal Thai Navy College of Nursing were at high level (M  = 3.76, SD = 0.75).
            2. Overall quality assurance practices of the Royal Thai Navy College of Nursing were at high level (M  = 3.77, SD = 0.66).
            3. Organizational factors were moderate positively related to overall quality assurance practices of the Royal Thai Navy College of Nursing. (r = 0.644)
