Among nursing performance of perioperative care which could perform at the highest level is the 8th standard, patient’s rights protection. And the least is the 5th standard of health promotion. 79.5% of the sample had knowledge on the standard of perioperative nursing at a good level; 68.3% of the sample had work ability at a good level and a good level of professional nursing values at 95.1%. The factors associated with performance of perioperative nurses in relation to the standard of perioperative nursing in one university hospital consisted of work experience in operation room at least 6 years and over (Adj. From this research, all perioperative nurses should be encouraged to participate and give importance or play a role in health promotion to provide information and health knowledge and continuing care for patients who undergo more surgery, and sustain the career of perioperative nurses who have been working in the operating room from 6 years and up, including promoting good professional values in order to improve the quality of perioperative nursing in accordance with standard.
