Quality of Work Life of Personnel in Krabi Provincial Public Health Office

Abstract
ABSTRACT
Background: Good quality of working life of personnel made work efficient and good quality. Therefore, This research studied administrative and environmental factors, and quality of work life, compared personnel factors with quality of work life, studied correlation between administrative factors, environmental factors with quality of work life. Besides, it required to seek suggestions regarding to quality of work life promotion.
Methods: This research was survey research. The sample group was 109 health personnel working at Krabi Provincial Public Health Office. Data collecting was implemented during June to July 2023 and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s product moment correlation.
Results: Krabi Provincial Public Health Office had administrative factor and environmental factor at high level. Health personnel of Krabi Provincial Public Health Office had working life quality at high level. Comparison of personnel factors with working life quality discovered that different income resulting in statistically significant difference (P-value < 0.05). Administrative factors had positive correlation at moderate level (r = 0.60) with quality of work life. In this regard, the administrative management factor and Job characteristics had positive relationship at moderate level (r = 0.66), and low level (r = 0.23) with quality of work life. Environmental factors had positive correlation at high level (r = 0.75) with quality of work life. Environmental factors; place, person, working system and organizational culture aspect had positive correlation with quality of work life at moderate level (r = 0.52, 0.68, 0.69 and 0.60), respectively, by statistically significant (P-value < 0.05) There were suggestions for promoting a good quality of work life, namely: to reduce the steps in work, promoting advancement in all fields/levels, to develop more personnel potential, and to add enough parking and the roof, at 6.3, 6.3, 5.5 and 4.8 percent, respectively.
Conclusion: There should be develop administrative factors, environmental factors and quality of life of Krabi Provincial Public Health Office personnel which is still in the moderate criteria to improvement.
