Effects of a Program to Stimulate Language Development in Children Aged 2-5 Years with Delayed Development Through Parental Participation.

Abstract
This research is a quasi-experimental research. (Quasi-Experimental Research) One group pretest and posttest design (one group pretest posttest design) aims to 1. Analyze the average knowledge scores. Perception of danger and its impact on child development and behaviors promoting language development in children aged 2-5 years of parents Before and after participating in the program and 2. Compare the average knowledge scores. Perception of danger and its impact on child development and behaviors promoting language development in children aged 2-5 years of parents Before and after joining the program The sample group was parents, caregivers, or guardians caring for children aged 2-5 years and children aged 2-5 years who received services in the developmental stimulation clinic. Surat Thani Hospital Between November - December 2023, a total of 30 people collected data using questionnaires. Statistics used in data analysis include descriptive statistics, including frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics include Paired t-test statistics.
The research results found that Parents who participate in the program to stimulate development in children aged 2-5 years who have language delays with parental participation. There was an average score of caregivers' knowledge about child development. Perception of danger and its impact on child development and behaviors promoting language development in children aged 2-5 years of parents Before and after joining the program, there was a statistical significant difference of 0.05, which from the results of this research. It should be recommended to raise awareness and encourage parents to do more assessment and promotion of early childhood development at home. Using the Manual for Surveillance and Promotion of Early Childhood Development (DSPM) and should continuously monitor and evaluate the results of using the program every 6 months or 12 months.
