THE EFFECT OF SHORT FILM PRODUCTION TO IMPROVE THE PREVENTIVE BEHAVIOR FOR THE PREGNANCY IN TEENAGER DURING THE HIGH SCHOOL PERIOD AT KOSUM PHISAI DISTRICT, MAHASARAKHAM PROVINCE.
Abstract
This quasi - experimental research was to investigate the effect of short film production to improve the preventive behavior for the pregnancy in teenager during the high school period at Kosum Phisai district Mahasarakham province. The research design comprised relationship building activity using group discussion, sharing experience activity by the role model to reflect the relevant problems, exchanging corresponded activity, alternative problem solving, workshop of short film production, Short Film Competition, presentation,follow up and evaluation activity. The samples were selected busily simple purposive Sampling method devised into 2 groups of 40 samples as an experimental group, and 40 samples of control group. The quantitative data was collected using questionnaire and then statistically analysed using the independent t-test, paired t-test at the significant level (p<0.05).The qualitative data was collected using group discussion and interview and then statistically analysed usingthe content analysis.
The result showed that the experimental group has significant higher perception on the preventive behavior for pregnancy mean score than those in control group (p<0.05).
In conclusion, the key success of this research was key actors as theprocesses of Short film production that regard to improve the preventive behavior for the pregnancy in teenager. The purpose is aimed to modifyingbehaviour of the target group by the experiential learning.
