Driving Operations to be a Health Literate Organization of Health Promoting Hospital Health Center 7, Khon Kaen

Abstract

This descriptive research aims to study the results of the driving operations to be a Health Literate Organization of Health Promoting Hospital Health Center 7, Khon Kaen. Study between 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019. The results was found that the self-assessment of every component of the organization was health-informed. Operating results are at a level of 80.0% evaluation of each area found that 1) the organization's leadership had clearly established a policy on health literacy 2) Personnel have been developed in health literacy throughout the organization, that be able to supervise and monitor in order to raise the level of health literacy of themselves and the target groups for which they are responsible. The personnel provide health information services to the public, they focus on accessibility and ease of understanding, use technology to provide services convenient and 3) The environment within the organization, there are clear signs for service points preparation of personnel name tags in a uniform format optimize the environment for health promotion services throughout the organization. In conclusions, the driving operations to be a Health Literate Organization of Health Promoting Hospital Health Center 7, Khon Kaen are evident. The organization in planning and developing personnel, give importance to information and communication that focuses on providing service recipients with reach, understand and use the information for self-care for people's health knowledge to the organization's guidelines for sustainable health literacy.
