Effectiveness of Supplies Administration on Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital, Lopburi Province

Abstract

           The objective of descriptive research was to effectiveness study of supplies administration on Sub-district health promoting hospitals in Lopburi Province. The data were collected by questionnaires from the supplies of Sub-district health promoting hospitals under the Lopburi province public health office. 121 of 132 subjects were responded at 91.66%. Data analyze by descriptive statistics were such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient. The results showed that the overall supplies administration effectiveness of Sub-district health promoting hospitals were high level (μ = 4.26, σ = 0.58). The value for money was the highest average (μ = 4.34, σ = 0.62), followed by efficiency and effectiveness was high level (μ = 4.29, σ = 0.62) and inspection was high level (μ = 4.26, σ =0.67), respectively, the knowledge and understanding of supplies was low level of positive correlation with effectiveness procurement management of Sub-district health promoting hospitals in Lopburi province as a whole (r=0.18, p-value=0.03).

          The study suggest that the supplies should encourage the operators to have more knowledge and there should be a manual for supplies administration with clear explanations of the method of operation and can be implemented in a concrete and appropriate manner makes the management of parcels more effective.
