Public Health Long-Term Care Services and Related Factors to the Role-Based Performance of Dependent Elderly Care Managers

The cross-sectional analysis study aimed to analyze the long-term services, the relationship between individual factors and the roles of long-term care, and study on the related factors to the role-based performance of dependent elderly care managers in the Khon Kaen provincial public health network. The 93 subjects were the trained elderly care managers hosted by the department of health, working with long-term care funds with current disbursement, and all voluntary participation. Collecting data from August to December 2020, with the 3 questionnaires composed of personal information of the elderly care managers included of sex, age, educational attainment, position in the organization, and long-term care service. The community support system of long-term services and the role performance of elderly care managers. The descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis were brought into data analysis.
The results showed that the personal information; all methods of long-term care services revealed statistically significant positive related to the role-based performance of dependent elderly care managers (p-value <0.01) while sex, age, educational attainment, and position in the organization did not express. The long-term care service presented statistically significant related to the role-based performance of dependent elderly care managers (Beta = 0.324, p-value <0.01) and be able about 16.5 % of the predictive factors. The role-based performance of dependent elderly care managers is based on a competency development process and measurement in the health system. Therefore, the training program must identification of boundary and roles to be effective when apply in a real situation.
