This evaluation research aimed to evaluate context, input, process, product, and impact of the Program of Nursing Specialty of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing in the class 1 & 2 based on the CIPP Model. The participants were 40 trainees and 40 clients. Data were collected by using questionnaires and the focus group. Quantitative data was analyzed for average and standard deviation. Qualitative data was analyzed by using content analysis. The findings showed that the highest score was the impact resulting from the satisfaction of clients (x̅= 4.50, S.D = 0.54) and the satisfaction of trainees (x̅= 4.17, S.D = 0.62). The next scores were the input (x̅= 4.09, S.D = 0.53) and the output (x̅= 4.00, S.D = 0.66) respectively. For content analysis of the context, this curriculum was suitable and congruent for the objective, structure, and content. For the input, the lecturers were knowledgeable and good teaching. However, supporting devices in the classroom should be changed. For the process, the blended learning could be used in teaching process. For the output, the trainees gained direct experiences for doing community psychiatry. In addition, trainees suggested to have training the basic course of psychiatric nursing before participating and should increase time of practicing. For clients, they gained knowledge and suggested to have caring in community continuously. Moreover, the further research should be examined about impact of mental health and psychiatric services in communities.
