Factors Influencing Self-care Behavior of Cardiovascular Clients at Kaengkraw Hospital, Chaiyaphum Province

The purposes of this descriptive research were to study correlation and factors Influencing self-care behavior of cardiovascular clients at Kaengkraw Hospital, Chaiyaphum Province.Sample were cardiovascular clients recruited by simple random sampling 82 persons.Instruments consisted demographic data social supportand selfcare behavior of cardiovascular patients. Collecting data during September to November of 2020.Analyzing data by descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
Results found that 1) demographic data such as age, monthly income and Body mass index positively correlated with self-care behavior of cardiovascular patients significantly (p< 0.05), Social support it was found that social support was positively correlated with self-care behavior of cardiovascular patients significantly (p< 0.05) and Practice support information, tools and environment were positively correlated with self-care behavior of cardiovascular patients significantly (p< 0.01),2) Factors influencing self-care behavior of cardiovascular patients are: monthly income (Beta = 0.822, p< 0.01) , tools and environment support (Beta = 0.246, p< 0.01) and body mass index (Beta = - 0.209, p< 0.05) Conclusion that all of those factors enable to be co-predictor for selfcare behavior of cardiovascular patients for 73.00 %
