Abstract

This article tries to show how to understand patients feeling, how to identify violence of patient and how to manage it. The psychiatric patient with violence behaviors were usually anxious or agitated in hospital setting. They need appropriate nursing care for reducing their violence. They need not to be restrained. Nurses and health personal have to use special skills to identify risks of violence, predicted violence symptoms which could occur in future prior to appropriate nursing management. Nurses can learn from their effective experience to reduce violence for standard quality of psychiatric nursing.
