ความวิตกกังวลของผู้ป่วยก่อนได้รับการผ่าตัดช่องท้องและบทบาทของพยาบาล ในการเตรียมความพร้อมผู้ป่วยก่อนเข้ารับการผ่าตัดในโรงพยาบาลแขวงบอริคำไซ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว

การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความวิตกกังวลของผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการผ่าตัด Exploratory laparotomy บทบาทของพยาบาลในการเตรียมความพร้อมผู้ป่วยก่อนผ่าตัด Exploratory laparotomy และศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลกับความวิตกกังวลในผู้ป่วยก่อนผ่าตัด Exploratory laparotomy ในโรงพยาบาลแขวงบอริคำไซ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว เก็บรวบรวมจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างศึกษาจากผู้ป่วยกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 56 คน แบ่งเป็นผู้ป่วย 48 คน พยาบาลจำนวน 8 คน ที่ได้จากการเลือกแบบเจาะจงโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและใช้สถิติทดสอบไคว์สแควร์
ผลการศึกษา พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนมากร้อยละ 58.3 มีระดับความวิตกกังวลในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 14.6 มีระดับความวิตกกังวลในระดับสูง นอกจากนั้นพบว่าบทบาทของพยาบาลในการเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อการผ่าตัด ได้แก่ การเตรียมด้านร่างกาย การเตรียมด้านจิตใจและอารมณ์ การสอนการปฏิบัติตัวหลังการผ่าตัด การเตรียมครอบครัว และการเตรียมเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง และปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลที่มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ อาชีพ (=16.96, p=0.031) และ ประสบการณ์ผ่าตัด (=6.55, p=0.038)
จากผลการศึกษาดังกล่าว เป็นแนวทางให้พยาบาลที่เกี่ยวข้องในการเตรียมความพร้อมผู้ป่วยก่อนการผ่าตัดให้ครอบคลุมทั้งด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ โดยคำนึงถึงความแตกต่างด้านอาชีพและประสบการณ์ผ่าตัด และพัฒนานวัตกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมการปรับสภาพจิตใจของผู้ป่วย
