บทคัดย่อ

This descriptive and predictive research was aimed 1) to study the clinical risk management of professional nurses in the delivery room at the community hospitals, District 7, Ministry of Public Health. 2) to study the relationship between personal factors and clinical risk management of nurses in the delivery room And 3) to study factors that can together predict clinical risk management of labor room nurses. The research samples were selected by purposive sampling composed of management and operation nurses who have worked in delivery room over one year up, consist of 348 professional nurses. The research instrument was a set of questionnaires with four parts 1) demographic data of sample 2) attitude towards clinical risk management 3) participative administration and 4) clinical risk management. Questionnaires which were validated by 5 experts. The Cronbach’s Alpha reliability were 0.83, 0.88 and 0.91 respectively. The research data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis. .  The results revealed that. 1) the levels of clinical nursing risk Management of professional nurses in the delivery room at the community hospitals, district 7,  was at the good level   ( =4.13, S.D. =0.44)  2)Factors has positive related with clinical risk management of professional nurses in the delivery room were: Attitude of risk management (r = 0.60, r =0.58, r = 0.57) 3) The participative management had the power to predict the clinical risk management of professional nurses at p.05 and accounted for 40.30 percent of the variance. The predictive equations were as follows: Z = 0.455 (Participative management) 0.265 (Attitude of risk management) Increasing of attitude towards risk management and participative management score may be increasing the level of clinical risk management of professional nurses in the delivery room. Furthermore, an activities or programs to promote self-efficacy for nursing should be developed that should be taken into account in order to ensure appropriateness and effectiveness of the programs on enhancing the level of clinical risk management of professional nurses in the delivery room.
