Influenced Factors on relapsed and non-relapsed amphetamine dependent-patients after 1 year-treatment

บทคัดย่อ

This study aimed to compare belief effect on amphetamine-abstinence, intention for amphetamine-abstinence, poor self-esteem and family function of amphetamine dependent-patient between relapsed and non-relapsed cases after 1 year-treatment in Srithanya hospital. Subjects were amphetamine dependent-patients admitted to Srithany hospital during March-June 2004. At 1 year follow up, they were invited to complete the questionnaire. Results showed that 108 patients devided into 2 groups i.e, relapsed and non-relapsed group had significant higher intention for amphetamine-abstinence, family function and lower poor self-teem than those of relapsed group but belief effect on amphetamine-abstinence did not have statistical difference, which were discussed in details.
