The effectiveness of follow - up process of drug addicts rehabilitated by psychological immunization, Bangragum District, Phitsanulok Province

บทคัดย่อ

The research studied the efficacy of follow - up process of drug addicts rehabilitated by psychological immunization. The samples were drug addicts rehabilitated , who lived in Bangragum district , All subjects were selected by the purposive sampling technique and equally assigned into either study or control groups. There were 30 subjects in each. The study group received psychological immunization program from nursing personnel of Bangragum hospital and other involving personnel whereas the control group was received the regular follow - up process from public health personnel of the health center. The analysis of data were used by frequency distribution , percentage, arithmetic means, standard deviation and test for differential significant at 0.05 level by t-test. The findings of the study were the controlling using drug addicts of the study groups was significantly higher than of the control group, physical and psychological performance of the study groups was significantly higher than of the control group, emotion quotient of the study groups was significantly higher than of the control group, relationship with family and community of the study groups was not significantly differential to the control group , attitude and acceptance of family and community was significantly higher than of the control group, planning and living uninvolving drug of the study groups was significantly higher than of the control group. The follow-up process of drug addicts rehabilitated by psychological immunization could be an alternative affective choice to prevent the relapsed rate and to improve users’ quality of life.
