Attitudes and behavior regarding masturbation in undergraduate students

Objective The purpose of this study was survey attitudes and behaviors toward the masturbation and to examine the relationship between sexual fantasy and orgasm
in masturbation of Thai college students studying in the bachelor degree.

Materials and methods The samples were collected from 6 universities.  The research instruments were an attitudes and behavior regarding masturbation question-
naire. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic, t-test, and correlation.

Results Male students thought that talking about masturbation can be more disclosed than female students.  Beside that, male was more often masturbation, sexua
imagination during masturbation, and get to the orgasm.  Female students tend to avoid sexual emotion, feeling guilty, feeling sinful and worry.  The study found a
relationship between sexual imagination and orgasm in female students.

Conclusion This study can be used as basic information for future masturbation study.
