Way Forward to Become a Quality Health Promotion Hospital

Abstract

          Healths Promotion Hospital (HPH) is a health care setting locating in a community that shift from primary care unit with aims of provide holistic care for people in community.  To strengthen the capacity of HPH and to meet with the new vision of organization, strategic management is needed. Strategic management composes of strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.  The purpose of strategic plan are (1) improve the quality of administrative and improve the service to meet with the Primary Care Award: PCA) by collaborative from three organizations, (2) raising the capacity of health care volunteer by people centered method, (3) precipitate on vaccination for all target group by family medicine system, (4) raising the capacity of volunteer with the collaborative from local administrative, (5) raising the capacity for working for HPH, (6) shift and change owner from Ministry of Public Health to people owner, (7) control chronic disease by change behaviors among people, and (8) precipitate for prevention teenage and aging health problems by strengthening family and community.  More importantly, these strategic plans can modify in order to make it fit with the context of the community. For implement the strategic plan, there should a link between goal, key performance indicators, target, strategic/methods, action plan.  Communication for cooperation is very important to draw participation from all staffs. Last but not least, monitoring and evaluation for assess process and implementation. Moreover, output should be assessed for monitoring the continuity and sustainability of a quality HPH.
