General recommendations
1. The title in both Thai and English, as well as the abstract in both Thai and English (Abstract), must have identical content.
2. The names of author and co-authors should be provided along with degree abbreviation of their highest educational qualifications in both Thai and English using bold, 16-point font and align right specified under the title with an asterisk (*), superscript, and in a footnote, specify the professional position and affiliation, along with the main contact person's name and email using regular font, size 12, and align to the left.
3. Abstract is no more than 300 words in both languages and no more than one page per abstract.
4. Define 3-5 keywords in both Thai and English
5. If there are images, diagrams, charts (graphs), or tables to supplement the content, they should be positioned appropriately within the text. Each should be numbered sequentially, with a corresponding label.
6. The use of written language follows the guidelines below:
6.1 The same words such as variable names should be consistent throughout the article.
6.2 Thai words that require an English translation should be accompanied by the English translation in parentheses. The English translation should only be included the first time the term is mentioned (beginning from the introduction section for research reports). Therefore, for subsequent mentions, only the Thai words should be written.
6.3 English words use all lowercase letters. The first word of title and specific words should capitalize except prepositions, conjunctions, and noun prefixes.
7. The use of numerals and abbreviations should be in Arabic numerals only, and international abbreviations should be used
8. Tables and figures should have their titles placed above them. Each table should have its title positioned above the table, while each figure should have its name placed above the figure, leave one blank line above the table name and figure name, and one blank line below the table and figure. Captions for tables or figures should be brief and clear. Photographs can be black and white or colored, but they must be sharp and clear. If tables or figures are copied from elsewhere, the source should be cited below each table and figure.
9. References should be written correctly. All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list. The number of references should not exceed 30.
10. The original manuscript, including references and abstracts, should not exceed 20 pages for research articles and 15 pages for academic articles, or may vary at the discretion of the journal editor.
11. The original file is saved as Word 97-2003 document.
Instructions for writing each type of manuscript
1. Research Articles: Instructions are given to write each component as following
1.1 The title of the article in Thai and English should be in bold, size 16, centered on the page. Each word in the English title should start with a capital letter, except for prepositions, conjunctions, and noun prefixes.
1.2 First name - last name of author and co-authors should be provided along with highest academic degree abbreviation (both in Thai and English) in bold, size 16, aligned to the right. An asterisk (*) with superscript should be marked among the list of authors; the profession and affiliations should be indicated with a footnote and included names and email address of the corresponding author using regular, 12-point front and align left.
1.3 Abstract in Thai and English (abstract): Divide into 2 paragraphs. The first paragraph should be about the research methodology, research objectives summarized, samples (specify who and how many), research tools (list the tools in order with validity and reliability), data collection (specify when conducted), and data analysis (specify the statistical methods used). The second paragraph should be about the research results that answer the research objectives/hypotheses and the significant recommendations for applying the research findings.
1.4 Keywords: Underneath each abstract in both languages, provide 3-5 keywords. Thai words type two spaces between words. In English, capitalize the first letter of each keyword and use commas to separate them. Ensure there is a space after each comma.
1.5 Introduction: Write according to the general principles of research report writing.
1.6 Research Objectives: Write specific research objectives, specifying them point by point.
1.7 Research Hypotheses (if any): Specify hypotheses point by point.
1.8 Research Framework: The research framework provides a concise description of the underlying concepts/theories used as the foundation for the study and the variables under investigation keeping it within 15 lines, and including figure [number].
1.9 Research Methodology
Write the introduction in first paragraph about the research design, duration, location, and scope of the study. Subsequently, the subtopics will be organized as follows:
1.9.1 Population and sample write about the population and sample selection criteria. criteria for termination of participations in research (especially experimental research) and determine the sample size and sampling method.
1.9.2 Research instruments can be categorized into those used for experimentation and those used for data collection. For experimentation tools, each activity will be specified with its source, duration, details of the activity, and the media employed. As for data collection tools or tools used for sample screening, the source, number of items, response characteristics, scoring criteria, and interpretation criteria will be outlined. For other types of research, tools used will be presented according to the sequence of variables studied, following a similar format to data collection tools and then reporting the validity and reliability of the research instruments.
1.9.3 Ethical considerations: provide certification number, date, period certified by the Research Ethics Committee, the objectives of the research, anticipated benefits, and the right to withdraw from the study. Additionally, it will be stated that the data will be kept confidential and used solely for this research. Information will be presented in overall results.
1.9.4 Data Collection: describe the process of accessing the sample group and managing research tools. In cases where research involves multiple stages or multiple sample groups, it may be presented using diagrams, tables, or in a sequential format as appropriate.
1.9.5 Data Analysis: specify the statistical methods used for analysis, variables or measurement levels, as well as testing assumption results (if any).
1.10 The research findings summarize the collection and analysis of data relevant to the presented research. In one paragraph, the overall results of the data analysis will be described. Presentation of the research findings can be in narrative form or presented in tables, whichever is appropriate. In case the table exceeds one page, the same table name should be used, followed by "(cont.)" in parentheses. Mean scores and standard deviations will be denoted as M and SD, respectively.
1.11 The discussion will entail the interpretation of the findings, followed by an analysis of the reasons behind the observed outcomes. This will be followed by a review of relevant literature that aligns with the research findings, specifying how the related studies corroborate the obtained results.
1.12 Recommendations for applying research findings and recommendations for future research should be provided. If there are multiple points, each should be specified separately.
1.13 Acknowledgements (if any) write to thank the person or organization that has contributed to this research.
1.14 References should be formatted correctly according to the guidelines of the 7th edition of the APA Publication Manual, with complete listings corresponding to the citations in the text.

2.5 The introduction explains the acquisition of knowledge and the significance of the topic, as well as the purpose of writing.
2.6 The article is divided into major headings, subheadings, and minor headings as appropriate.
2.7 Conclusion: summarize the key points.
2.8 Recommendations: write recommendations for applying the findings in nursing practice and related fields.
2.9 References should be formatted correctly according to the guidelines of the 7th edition of the APA Publication Manual, with complete listings corresponding to the citations in the text (details below).
APA Style Reference Writing Guide
The guide is based on the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA style ), Seventh Edition dividing into in-text citations and reference. The details are as following:
- In-text citations
In-text citations are divided into two types: writing references in front of the text and writing references at the end of the text as following
1.1 For foreign authors, only the last name should be included. For Thai authors, both the first and last names should be included. For Thai authors holding title, title conferred by the king or priest of rank, the title should be placed before the name. Example:
……………………..(McCargo, 2002)
1.2 When citing two authors, include both names every time a reference appears in the text. Use the word "and" for Thai authors and "and" for foreign authors outside parentheses. However, use the symbol "&" when the authors are within parentheses.
1.3 When there are three or more authors, list the name of the first author followed by "et al." (for foreign authors) such as: …………… (Pratkanis et al., 1989)
1.4 When citing an organization with an acronym as the author, include the full organization name followed by the acronym in parentheses, and then the publication year. The format is as follows: the full organization (acronym, year). For subsequent citations in the reference list, provide only the acronym and the publication year within parentheses, like this: (Full Name [Abbreviation], Year). Example:
First reference: …. World Health Organization (WHO, 2019)…..
Subsequent references: WHO (2019) ….
1.5 When referencing a document without an author/editor, if the title of the work/article is lengthy, include only the first 2-3 words within quotation marks followed by the publication year. The reference format is as follows:
In-text citation format: "Title of the Work" or "Title of the Chapter" or "Title of the Article" (Year of publication), for example:
"The Newborn Care Handbook" , 2019) mentions...
In-text citation format: ("Title of the Work" or "Title of the Chapter" or "Title of the Article", Year of publication), for example:
…("Child Nursing Care Planning", 2016)
For subsequent citations, use the same format as the first citation.
1.6 For more than two references, list them alphabetically as follows:
…… The effective measurement (Johnson & Joseph, 1989; Steve et al., 2000)
1.7 References based on data from secondary sources
Specify the last name of the original author, followed by a comma (,) and the year of publication. Then, for Thai documents, use the term "อ้างถึงใน" and for foreign language documents, use "as cited in", followed by the last name of the author cited in one's own work. For example:
In 1996, According to Kaplan and Norton, the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard allowed the organization to be managed successfully. It supports the deployment of business strategies, meeting customer needs, and the visibility of process problems. (Anan, 1989 as cited in Jason, 2015)
Note: In-text citations in each section, if using more than one reference, should be arranged alphabetically by the first letter of the author's name (or last name if the author is a foreigner), with Thai sources first followed by foreign sources.
2. Writing a reference at the end of the article
When writing the reference list at the end of the article, include only the sources cited in the text. The format for listing authors and publication years should be similar to the in-text citation format used initially. For foreign authors, include the last name followed by a comma (,) followed by the initial letter of the first name, then a period (.). There should be one space after the period. Following that, include the middle name and a period. Below are guidelines and examples for each type of reference:

The arrangement of references
1. Arrange the Thai language references before the English language ones.
2. Arrange in alphabetical order according to the first letter of the author's last name (if the author is foreign, arrange alphabetically by the first letter of their last name). If the first letters are the same, continue to order by the next letter.
3. If there are multiple references from the same author or group of authors in the reference list, arrange them in chronological order by publication year. If the publication years are the same, use letters (in Thai: ก ข ค …, and in English: a b c ...) after the publication year to differentiate them. For example: 2565ก, 2565ข, 2019a, 2019b.
4. If the first author is the same across multiple references, including single author and those with different co-authors, arrange them by the total number of authors, from least to most. For example:
อาภาพร เผ่าวัฒนา. (2566).
อาภาพร เผ่าวัฒนา, สุรินธร กลัมพากร, สุณีย์ ละกำปั่น, และขวัญใจ อำนาจสัตย์ซื่อ. (2554).
