Organization Research Strategy:

A Transferring Knowledge from Theory to Practice

Abstract

         Poor research productivity may be due to the lack of smart research strategy. The aim of this article is to provide on how to initiate organization research strategy and presenting the example. There are three main things necessary to initiate research strategies which includes where we want to go, where we are now, and how to go there. More importantly, how many research paper do we need to claim so that we can reach our vision? Target research strategy starts from the analysis of organizational strategy, then a scoping review is conducted for determining where we are now. There are several factors to use for to designate the target that includes indicators of organizational strategy, goals of quality assurance and key responsibility target from executive board. These together forms a research strategy as “Institute reach goal oriented target research in which every individual is a PI by 3 years” There are four key ambitions in this research strategy which includes (a) area of research, (b) research publications, (c) research grant, and (d) research competency which are relevant to the 21^st century skills. There are two major action plans which are goal oriented research plan and strengthening research network. “Research as a movie” is a key principle.`
