About the Journal

      The Journal of Boromrajonani College of Nursing, Surin publishes research articles and academic articles in nursing, public health, medicine, health education, and various aspects of health sciences.Manuscripts submitted for publication in this journal must not have been previously published or being submitted for consideration by another journal. The editorial board reserves the right to review, revise manuscripts, and consider publication on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Aims

       1. To disseminate knowledge in nursing, public health, medicine, health education and various aspects of health sciences including academic works, new technologies and research works to nurses, health educators, health personnel, scholars, students, and the general public.

      2. To disseminate knowledge in nursing, public health, medicine, health education and various aspects of health sciences to settings for student practicum and educational institutions both inside and outside Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Surin.

      3. To promote and create researches and academic works for health professionals and related parties, as well as provide a platform to exchange new paradigms of nurses and educators.

     4. To strengthen cooperation and collaboration network between educational institutions and health organizations nationwide.

Scope

        The Journal of Boromrajonani College of Nursing, Surin has policy to publish articles in nursing, public health, medicine, and various aspects of health sciences. The journal serves as a quality source of academic articles and research articles in nursing and health at the national level for nursing, health, and interested personnel.

 

Types of articles accepted for publication

     1. Research articles are reports on original research in nursing, public health, medicine, health education, and various aspects of health sciences both quantitative, and qualitative research, systematic literature reviews, meta-analysis, and meta-synthesis.     

     2. Academic articles are articles that compile knowledge related to nursing, public health, medicine, health education, and various aspects of health sciences that are up-to-date, summarize, analyze, compare, synthesize, and present useful knowledge and opinions.

 

Peer Review Policy

       All manuscripts submitting to the Journal of Boromrajonani College of Nursing, Surin are read by three scholars from various institutions both inside and outside Praboromarajchanok Institution. The journal employs a double-blind peer review process in which the authors' and reviewers' identities are covered from each other. The content and any opinions in the published papers are the sole responsibility of the authors, not the editorial board.

 

Publication Frequency

    The journal publishes two issues per year as follows:

          No. 1 January-June

          No. 2 July-December 

Article publishing fees

The Journal of Boromrajonani College of Nursing, Surin is a non-profit agency that provides publication opportunities for quality manuscripts for public distribution. The fee is 3,500 baht (three thousand five hundred baht). This fee is used to cover the costs of the peer-review process and administration.

The payment process is following:

1. After receiving the manuscript, submitted paper is first considered by the editorial team to screen the manuscript for basic journal requirements. If it is not meet the requirements, the manuscript will be rejected through the Thaijo. In this process, authors don’t need to pay for publication fee and can request for explanation for the rejection reasons.
2. After passing the first screening, the author proceeds to pay the publication fee.
3. Please note that submitted articles can be rejected at a later date, it is depended on expert review recommendations and the final decision of the journal editorial team. Publication fees are non-refundable if the article is determined that it is not ready to publish.

 

Note:  The Journal of Boromrajonani College of Nursing, Surin has no policy to accept expedited or fast-track publication.

Open Access Policy

    1. Visitors can download the article free of charge.
    2. Authors who are staff members of Boromrajonani College of Nursing There will be no cost to publish the article. For external personnel, if they want to publish an article, they will have to pay as determined by the journal.
