บทคัดย่อ

บทนำ: การดูแลแบบประคับประคองในผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งโดยใช้ภูมิปัญญาการแพทย์แผนไทย เป็นวิธีการที่เน้นคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วย การศึกษาถึงวิธีการใช้ภูมิปัญญาการแพทย์แผนไทยจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ

วัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย: เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะของงานวิจัยและองค์ความรู้ที่เกี่ยวกับการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง โดยใช้ภูมิปัญญาการแพทย์แผนไทยในผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็ง ในด้านรูปแบบ วิธีการ และผลของการดูแล

ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา เพื่อสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวกับการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคอง โดยใช้ภูมิปัญญาการแพทย์แผนไทยในผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็ง โดยใช้คำค้น คือ การดูแลแบบประคับประคอง โรคมะเร็ง และภูมิปัญญาการแพทย์แผนไทย พบงานวิจัย จำนวน 20 เรื่อง ที่ผ่านเกณฑ์การประเมินคุณภาพงานวิจัย

ผลการวิจัย: พบว่าส่วนใหญ่เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ 13 เรื่อง และเชิงคุณภาพ 7 เรื่อง ผลการสังเคราะห์เกี่ยวกับองค์ความรู้ในการดูแลแบบประคับประคองโดยใช้ภูมิปัญญาการแพทย์แผนไทยในผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็ง แบ่งเป็น 3 ประเภท คือ ประเภทที่ 1 เป็นรูปแบบการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง ประเภทที่ 2 เป็นขั้นตอนการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง และประเภทที่ 3 เป็นวิธีการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง ส่วนผลการใช้วิธีการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง แบ่งได้เป็น 3 ด้าน ดังนี้ 1) ด้านร่างกาย (กายานามัย) 2) ด้านจิตใจ (จิตตานามัย) และ 3) ด้านการมีชีวิตในสังคมสิ่งแวดล้อม (ชีวิตานามัย) พบว่า ผู้ป่วยมีคุณภาพชีวิต รู้สึกถึงความปลอดภัย บรรเทาความทุกข์ได้ แม้ว่าจะไม่สามารถหลีกเลี่ยงความตายได้ แต่ทำให้สามารถใช้ชีวิตช่วงสุดท้ายได้อย่างมีความสุขมากขึ้น

สรุปผล: การดูแลแบบประคับประคองโดยใช้ภูมิปัญญาแพทย์แผนไทยช่วยส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตผู้ป่วยมะเร็งทั้งด้านกาย จิตใจ และสังคม

ข้อเสนอแนะ: ควรส่งเสริมการดูแลแบบประคับประคองอย่างเป็นองค์รวมโดยบูรณาการภูมิปัญญาไทย พัฒนาทีมสหวิชาชีพและระบบชุมชน เพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยระยะท้ายมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีและสงบในบั้นปลายชีวิต
