บทนำ: ภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ในผู้สูงอายุหญิง ส่งผลกระทบต่อคุณภาพชีวิต การทราบปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องจะช่วยทำให้ผู้สูงอายุหญิงได้รับการจัดการที่เหมาะสมมากขึ้น
วัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย: เพื่อศึกษาความชุกของภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ และปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการจัดการภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ของผู้สูงอายุหญิงในชุมชน
ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้สูงอายุหญิงที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 60 ปี ขึ้นไป จำนวน 297 ราย คัดเลือกตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้รวบรวมข้อมูล คือ 1) แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล 2) แบบประเมินผู้ป่วยภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่ได้ ทดสอบความเชื่อมั่นมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาก เท่ากับ .976 3) แบบสอบถามการจัดการภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ มีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาก เท่ากับ .919 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาสถิติสหสัมพันธ์เชิงอันดับของสเปียร์แมน และสถิติสหสัมพันธ์พอยท์ ไบซีเรียล
ผลการวิจัย: ความชุกของภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ของผู้สูงอายุหญิงในชุมชน เท่ากับ ร้อยละ 63.30 ส่วนปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการจัดการการกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ พบว่า ระดับการศึกษา (r = .189, p <.01) รายได้ต่อเดือน (r = -.276, p <.001) โรคความดันโลหิตสูง (r = .286, p <.001) การมีประวัติผ่าตัดมดลูก (r = .269, p <.01) ระยะเวลาการมีอาการ (r = .388, p <.001) ความรุนแรง (r = .450, p <.001) และชนิดของการกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ มีความสัมพันธ์กับการจัดการภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ของผู้สูงอายุหญิงในชุมชนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ
สรุปผล: ความชุกของภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ของผู้สูงอายุหญิง เท่ากับ ร้อยละ 63.30 ส่วนปัจจัยด้านระดับการศึกษา รายได้ต่อเดือน โรคความดันโลหิตสูง การมีประวัติผ่าตัดมดลูก ระยะเวลาการมีอาการ ความรุนแรง ชนิดของการกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ มีความสัมพันธ์กับการจัดการภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ของผู้สูงอายุหญิงในชุมชน
ข้อเสนอแนะ: บุคลากรสุขภาพที่ดูแลผู้สูงอายุควรให้ความสำคัญกับปัจจัยด้านต่าง ๆ ชนิดของการกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่ เพื่อให้การจัดการกับภาวะกลั้นปัสสาวะไม่อยู่อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
