Development of Nursing Innovation Management Scale for First-line Nurse Managers, General Hospital Ministry of Public Health

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to develop and examine the structural validity of nursing innovation management scale for first-line nurse managers. Sample is 274 first-line nurse managers who work at General hospital, Ministry of Public Health. The research tool used the questionnaire with 5 rating scales developed according to the theory of Tidd and Bessant. Content validity analysis was performed by 5 experts (CVI = .90). The reliability of the whole test was .95. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and composition analysis.
The results of the research showed that the indicator of nursing innovation management consists of 23 questions with 5 components which are 1) the formulation of strategies and strategic plans for innovation management (β = .93) with 5 indicators 2) the management of innovation processes and innovation resources (β = .88) with 4 indicators. 3) Management of innovative organizations (β = .92) 5 indicators. 4) Management of the linkage between nursing organization and external (β = .87) 4 indicators and 5) knowledge management (β = .83) with 5 indicators. There were all positive values and statistical significance at the level of .01. The management of nursing innovations is consistent with the empirical data (c2 = 326.87, df = 212, c2 /df = 1.5, GFI = .91, AGFI =.90, CFI = 1.0, RMSEA = .04, RMR = .02, SRMR =.04) It can be concluded that the developed tools are reliable and can be used to measure the evaluation of nursing innovation management of nursing administrators in nursing organizations.
