泰国对新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情防控的成功的因素和挑战

摘要
新型冠状病毒肺炎是一种正在全球蔓延的新兴传染病，已有数亿人确诊感染和造成数百万人死亡。泰国是首个发现中国境外感染者的国家。泰国在2020年全年都能够控制和预防好第一波疫情，这得益于长期以来泰国一直不断地发展和建立反应迅速公共卫生系统。但同时泰国在很多方面也很脆弱。因为它是一个开放的国家，52.4%的经济依赖于服务业，有超过500万的劳工，其中一半以上是非法的，居住在很拥挤的环境中。因此，很容易造成疾病快速的传播。同时还包括了很多贫民窟社区、监狱、娱乐场所、非法赌博场所等。加上执法力度不强，这导致爆发了2020年末的第二波疫情和2021年4月的第三波疫情大流行。同时泰国没有能力自主研究、开发和生产疫苗，因此不得不依赖国外，进口世界各地的疫苗。特别是在疫情爆发的第一年，疫苗数量有限，市场属于卖方市场，这导致采购延迟和无法有效的利用有限的疫苗资源。传统医学包括泰国传统医学和中医它们都能起到辅助药物的作用，可以帮助缓解部分问题。
