ประสบการณ์ฟันผุและปัจจัยทำนายสภาวะฟันผุ ของวัยทำงาน อำเภอโพนทอง จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์ฟันผุและปัจจัยทำนายสภาวะฟันผุของวัยทำงาน
วัสดุอุปกรณ์และวิธีการ: การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงวิเคราะห์แบบภาคตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือกลุ่มวัยทำงาน อายุ 18–59 ปี จำนวน 250 คนที่อาศัยในเขตอำเภอโพนทอง จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก ความเชื่ออำนาจในตนและพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม เก็บข้อมูลสภาวะฟันผุโดยใช้แบบตรวจสภาวะฟันผุ ระหว่างเดือนกรกฎาคม-ตุลาคม 2566 ตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาโดยคำนวณค่า IOC (Index of objective congruence) ได้เท่ากับ 0.67-1 ความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสอบถามมีค่าระหว่าง 0.82–0.92 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทั่วไปของกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาประกอบด้วยค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าต่ำสุด ค่าสูงสุดและวิเคราะห์หาปัจจัยทำนายสภาวะฟันผุโดยใช้สถิติเชิงอนุมาน ได้แก่ การทดสอบไคสแควร์ การทดสอบฟิชเชอร์ การทดสอบสหสัมพันธ์และการทดสอบพหุถดถอยแบบขั้นตอน
ผล: กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง (68.8%) อายุเฉลี่ย 46.58 ปี (ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 10.53) กลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 80 มีฟันผุ และมีค่าเฉลี่ยฟันผุ ถอน อุดเท่ากับ 9.2 ซี่ต่อคน โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยฟันผุ 5.61 ซี่ต่อคน ค่าเฉลี่ยฟันถอน 1.69 ซี่ต่อคนและค่าเฉลี่ยฟันอุด 1.90 ซี่ต่อคน ปัจจัยทำนายสภาวะฟันผุในกลุ่มวัยทำงานได้แก่ อายุ (β=0.17, p=0.006) ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก (β=-0.18, p=0.007) และพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก (β=-0.19, p=0.006) โดยตัวแปรดังกล่าวร่วมกันทำนายสภาวะฟันผุได้ 17% (R2=0.17, p<0.001)
บทสรุป: ปัจจัยทำนายสภาวะฟันผุในวัยทำงานได้แก่ อายุ ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากและพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก ผลการศึกษาสามารถใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการป้องกันฟันผุโดยอาจส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากและพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก
