บทคัดย่อ
การติดเชื้อจากผู้บริจาคในผู้รับการปลูกถ่ายไตนั้น เป็นภาวะแทรกซ้อน ภายหลังการปลูกถ่ายไตที่พบได้น้อย แต่เมื่อเกิดขึ้นแล้วนั้นอาจส่งผลต่อการฟื้นตัวหลังการปลูกถ่าย ใช้เวลาในการรักษานานขึ้น สิ้นเปลืองงบประมาณในการรักษามากขึ้น คุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยเเย่ลง และอาจรุนแรงถึงขั้นเสียชีวิตได้ โดยการวินิจฉัยภาวะติดเชื้อจากผู้บริจาคในผู้รับการปลูกถ่ายไตนั้น จำเป็นที่จะต้องเกิดขึ้นจากหน่วยงานหลายส่วน เช่น หน่วยงานที่รักษาผู้บริจาคก่อนที่จะเสียชีวิต ศูนย์ปลูกถ่ายอวัยวะ และหน่วยงานที่ได้รับบริจาคอวัยวะ โดยใช้วิธีการซักประวัติ ตรวจร่างกาย และส่งตรวจทางห้องปฏิบัติการเพื่อตรวจหาเชื้อที่สามารถติดต่อได้หลังการปลูกถ่าย เพื่อให้มั่นใจได้ว่าอวัยวะที่บริจาคไปนั้นจะส่งผลเสียน้อยที่สุดสำหรับผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการปลูกถ่าย และทำให้เกิดผลลัพธ์หลังการปลูกถ่ายที่ดีมากขึ้น
