Abstract
Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is uterine bleeding with different patterns from normal menstruation. Menstrual cycle abnormalities can occur in one or more components. These elements are regularity, frequency, duration, and amount of bleeding, which can occur at any age but is more prevalent in the early and after reproductive years due to the fact that the endocrine system, that regulates the menstrual cycle, is either in its infancy or system's operation begins to malfunction. As for the reproductive age, it is often caused by various gynecological diseases. The nurses' roles in caring for AUB patients through the nursing process include evaluating patients, making nursing diagnoses, making plans, and actually practicing nursing on AUB patient. Nurses play a crucial role in order to monitor and provide advice. Then the quality of life for patients will improve as a result.
