บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบหาความสัมพันธ์เชิงทำนาย มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความตั้งใจเลือกศึกษาวิชาชีพการพยาบาล และวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่สามารถทำนายความตั้งใจดังกล่าวในนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ในประเทศไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 756 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย เครื่องมือวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามที่ครอบคลุม 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านสถาบันการศึกษา ด้านการเงินและค่าใช้จ่าย ด้านหลักสูตร ด้านครอบครัว และด้านสังคม รวมถึงแบบวัดความตั้งใจเลือกศึกษาวิชาชีพการพยาบาล ซึ่งมีค่าความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาเท่ากับ 0.98 และค่าความเชื่อมั่นสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟ่าของครอนบาคเท่ากับ 0.90 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติถดถอยพหุแบบขั้นตอน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความตั้งใจเลือกศึกษาวิชาชีพการพยาบาลอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (ร้อยละ 35.6) ปัจจัยที่สามารถร่วมกันทำนายความตั้งใจดังกล่าวอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ได้แก่ ด้านครอบครัว เพศหญิง ความต้องการกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษา การมีภูมิลำเนาในแต่ละภูมิภาค (ภาคกลาง ภาคตะวันตก ภาคใต้ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคเหนือ และภาคตะวันออก) การมีบุคคลในครอบครัวประกอบวิชาชีพด้านสุขภาพ ด้านหลักสูตร ระดับผลการเรียนเฉลี่ยสะสม 3.01–3.50 และรายได้ครอบครัวต่อเดือน 20,000–30,000 บาท โดยตัวแปรทั้ง 13 ตัวสามารถร่วมกันอธิบายความแปรปรวนของความตั้งใจได้ร้อยละ 44.90 (R² = 0.449)
ผลการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของปัจจัยด้านครอบครัว ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล และปัจจัยเชิงสังคมเศรษฐกิจต่อความตั้งใจเลือกศึกษาวิชาชีพการพยาบาล ซึ่งสามารถนำไปใช้เป็นข้อมูลประกอบการวางแผนเชิงนโยบายและการส่งเสริมการเข้าสู่วิชาชีพพยาบาลในอนาคต
