ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้าของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) ในจังหวัดสุรินทร์

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาเชิงสหสัมพันธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมและปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้าของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) ในจังหวัดสุรินทร์ จำนวน 414 คน
สุ่มตัวอย่างแบบชั้นภูมิ เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถามความรู้เกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า ได้ค่าความตรงระหว่าง .67 – 1.00 ได้ค่า KR-20 เท่ากับ .91 แบบสอบถามทัศนคติต่อการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า และแบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า ได้ความเชื่อมั่นสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคได้เท่ากับ .94 และ .96 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติถดถอยเชิงพหุแบบขั้นตอน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า
1. พฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้าของ อสม. ในจังหวัดสุรินทร์ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (M = 4.12, SD = 0.51)
2. ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้าของ อสม. ในจังหวัดสุรินทร์ ได้แก่ ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า (Beta = .374) และทัศนคติต่อการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า (Beta = .201) โดยตัวแปรทั้ง 2 สามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนได้ร้อยละ 20.40 (adjR2 = .204, p-value < .001) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001
โรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลควรให้การสนับสนุนในการเพิ่มพูนความรู้เกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า ตลอดจนการสร้างทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้าและการตระหนักถึงความรุนแรงของโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า
