This research aimed to study the relationships between some selected factors and intention behavior of using online learning among nursing students of Nursing Colleges under Praboromarajchanok Institute (Ministry of Public Health, Central Network 1). The sample was 337 nursing students in their 1st to 4th year, in academic year 2020 at Bangkok, Changwat Nonthaburi, and Nopparat Vajira Boromrajonani colleges of nursing. The instruments used in this study included: 1) a general information questionnaire, 2) an attitude toward using online learning questionnaire, 3) a subjective norm questionnaire, 4) a behavioral intention in using online learning questionnaire. The Cronbach’s alpha coefficients of the questionnaires were .87, .79, and .79 respectively. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, point biserial correlation coefficients, Eta correlation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficients.
The results showed that the intentional behavior in nursing students for using online learning was at a high level (M=98.65, SD=7.83). Factors that were associated with the intentional behavior of using online learning included attitude toward using online learning was low correlated with intentional behavior (r=.32, p<.01), and subjective norm was moderate correlated with intentional behavior (r=.45, p<.01).
In conclusion, encouraging nursing students to have a positive attitude towards online learning and encouraging them to realize the importance of online learning will lead nursing students to have behavioral intention to using online learning with, as a result, good learning outcomes.
