Abstract

The objective of this article is to indicate important of field notes. That is important instrument for collecting data in qualitative research. A good field notes can support to researcher for planning in field work and procedure analysis of data for correct conclusion and trustworthiness research. This content consist of significance, meaning of field notes, objective, mainstay, complement, pattern of field notes and for examples of field notes for methodology ; ethnography research, phenomenology research, action research of field notes, field notes for goal; focus group of field notes. Furthermore attribution and personality of researcher that promote to completely of field notes. It bring to quality and trustworthiness of qualitative research.
