Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the curriculum of Bachelor’s degree in Community Public Health Program B.E.2555, Sirindhorn College of Public Health Suphanburi using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The population of the study was categorized into 3 groups 1) Curriculum users consisted of 7 members of the program committee and Vice-Director of Academic Affairs Division and 12 instructors, 2) 43 students, and 3) 84 graduates’ supervisors. The instruments used in the study included the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum.

          The results of the research were as follows: the Bachelor’s degree in Community Public Health Program B.E.2555, Sirindhorn College of Public Health Suphanburi was rated at the high level in overall. 1) The context consisted of the curriculum objectives, curriculum structure and contents were evaluated at the high level from members of the program committee and Vice-Director Academic Affairs Division, instructors and students (µ =4.04,σ=0.45). 2). The input which consisted of the attributes of the curriculum administrators, student’s qualification and the enabling factors for learning were evaluated at the high level by members of the program committee and Vice-Director Academic Affairs Division, instructors and students (µ=3.59,σ=0.48). 3) The process which consisted of the curriculum management, the learning instruction, the evaluation and the community health fieldwork were evaluated at the high level by members of the program committee and Vice-Director Academic Affairs Division,  instructors and students (µ=4.07,σ=0.40). 4) The results of the product which consisted of the learning outcomes, the 21st century skills of the students and  the relevant knowledge for work were evaluated at the high level by members of the program committee and Vice-Director Academic Affairs Division, instructors, students and the graduates’ supervisors (µ=3.86,    σ =0.52).
