Research writing techniques for national and international publication.

Abstract

Research is an important mission of higher education institutions. That should support and encourage faculty to conduct research to find new knowledge and applying it to their work in order to develop the organization. In addition to having knowledge and ability to conduct research correctly and appropriately according to research publish, the faculty also should have knowledge in writing research articles for publication and publishing in national and international journals. Furthermore, rendering these performances, they ought to develop their potential in research writing continuously which is also a part of indicators for educational quality assurance. It is to develop the university's reputation on the national level and international as well. However, research articles that are published nationally and internationally must be of high quality both of writing techniques and using correct language according to the journal's standards. This academic article is derived from the lessons learned of eight faculty with experienced in publishing research articles through 3 focus group discussions. The objectives are to gain knowledge and practical guideline of research writing for publication at the national and international levels.
