White-coat hypertension: the ambiguity in our practice

Abstract

The white-coat hypertension is a common condition in daily practice. It is caused by fear or anxiety when receiving medical services. The diagnostic criteria, relationship with true hypertension and guideline for medical consultation was discussed in this article.
