Predictive Equations for Stress Levels Among the Elderly Using Multiple Regression Analysis: A Case Study of Bang Chakreng Community, Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram Province

Stress is a significant mental health concern among the elderly population and is expected to increase with the aging society. This cross-sectional analytical research aimed to study the prediction equation for stress levels among the elderly using multiple regression analysis in Bang Chakreng Community, Samut Songkhram Province. The sample consisted of 250 elderly individuals. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that factors significantly predicting stress levels (p<.05) included physical health factors (β=-.217), mental and emotional health factors (β=-.208), and social and environmental factors (β=.200), collectively explaining 10.6% of the variance in stress levels. These findings highlight the importance of holistic healthcare approaches in preventing stress among the elderly population.
