The Relationship Between Knowledge and Behavior of Food of Lahu People Mueang Na Sub-district, Chiang Dao District , Chiang Mai Province

This descriptive research aimed to study knowledge of food consumption, food consumption behavior, and relationship between knowledge of food consumption and food consumption behavior of the La-hu people in the area of Mueang Na sub-district, Chiang Dao district, Chiangmai province. Data were collected by related documents and questionnaires. Descriptive statistics and Pearson's product moment correlation were used to analyze the data. The results revealed that the samples consisted of 381 Lahu people. They had their knowledge about food consumption at a low level and food consumption behavior at a moderate level. The relationship between knowledge about food consumption and food consumption behavior of the samples was found as having a positive relationship. This explains that when the Lahu people increase their knowledge about food consumption, they will also improve their food consumption behavior significantly at the 0.01 level.
