ผลของโปรแกรมการช่วยเลิกบุหรี่แบบสั้นต่อพฤติกรรมการเลิกบุหรี่ในผู้ที่เป็นวัณโรคปอด

การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการช่วยเลิกบุหรี่แบบสั้นต่อพฤติกรรมการเลิกบุหรี่ในผู้ที่เป็นวัณโรคปอด กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยวัณโรคปอดที่สูบบุหรี่ เข้ารับการรักษาที่คลินิกวัณโรค โรงพยาบาลระดับตติยภูมิแห่งหนึ่ง กรุงเทพมหานคร คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงตามคุณสมบัติที่กำหนด จำนวน 60 คน แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มละ 30 คน จับคู่กลุ่มตัวอย่างให้มีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกันในเรื่องอายุและระดับการติดนิโคติน กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ ในขณะที่กลุ่มทดลองได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติและเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการช่วยเลิกบุหรี่แบบสั้น ใช้การวิดีโอคอลผ่านแอปพลิเคชันไลน์ และโทรศัพท์เพื่อติดตามกลุ่มตัวอย่าง เครื่องมือที่ใช้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบประเมินพฤติกรรมการเลิกบุหรี่ ซึ่งมีค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาคอนบราค .83 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติทดสอบที ผลการทดลองพบว่า คะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมการเลิกบุหรี่ของกลุ่มทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการช่วยเลิกบุหรี่แบบสั้นอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (t=18.916, p<.05) และคะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมการเลิกบุหรี่ของกลุ่มทดลองสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (t=9.517, p<.05) แสดงให้เห็นว่าควรนำโปรแกรมการช่วยเลิกบุหรี่แบบสั้นมาบูรณาการในคลินิกวัณโรคเพื่อส่งเสริมการเลิกบุหรี่ในผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้
