Abstract

Political participation is important to national, economic, social and technological development. The political participation of professional nurses is especially important as they play a significant role in public health policy and future laws. Professional nurses can participate in political activities at several levels, from the professional level to local and national levels. Their participation can result in better quality of care and a better public health service system.
