ยุทธศาสตร์สำหรับวิทยาลัยพยาบาลในสังกัดสถาบันพระบรมราชชนกเพื่อรองรับประชาคมอาเซียน

Abstract

This qualitative research aimed at (1) studying strategies of nursing colleges subsidiary
to Praboromrajchanok institute for supporting the ASEAN community, (2) developing
strategies of nursing colleges subsidiary to Praboromrajchanok institute for supporting the
ASEAN community, and (3) examining the strategies that have been developed for supporting
the ASEAN community. The research had three steps, comprising of (1) to study strategies
by reviewing related literature and researches, (2) to develop strategies by using 3 rounds
of Ethnographic Delphi Future Research (EDFR) techniques consisting of expert interview,
verified questionnaires and revision by 17 experts, and (3) to examine the strategies that
have been developed by focus group discussion of 12 experts. The results were as follows:
Strategy 1 was to produce graduate nurses and develop human resources on health to
support community health and ASEAN. Strategy 2 was to promote research and development
of knowledge contributing to the development of health in Thai community and ASEAN
society. Strategy 3 was to strengthen health services to lead rich social intelligence in
ASEAN level. Strategy 4 was to promote arts and culture for creating good relations and
cooperation within ASEAN community. Lastly, strategy 5 was to strengthen the Colleges of
Nursing to achieve higher quality and international standards.
