Abstract

An emergency cart is important. It is intended for use in emergencies situation. In the hospital policy, it should be opened in the appropriate situation because the process of returning a new one had a lot and takes time. Although the internal device is not being used but it is opened. It is always necessary to send a cart to exchange for a new car. This increases the workload and takes more time for nurses in preparing for the delivery of the equipment to the medical supplies team, Central Sterile Supply team, and pharmacists to check the cart and sign together. That meant it is ready to use.  At the present time, it was found that the emergency cart was open to using other equipment in the vehicle such as Laryngoscope Blade, Endotracheal tube, and face mask about 42.67% of emergency carts were opened for intubation. And it was found that more than a third of them used a cart from a critical care division.

This for the reason, our critical care division recognized the need and urgency to resolve that problems for tracheal intubation alone. Therefore, a “CNMI-ETT box” was created for intubation to reduce the workload and time of the relevant sector to turnover.
