Expectations of Traditional Chinese Medicine Students, University of Phayao on the Clinical Instructor, Knowledge, Ability, Experiment, and Personality aspect

Abstract

            The objective of this study was to evaluate expectations of clinical practice including the clinical instructor, knowledge, ability, experiment, and personality aspects of traditional Chinese medicine students at, the University of Phayao on clinical practice. The volunteers of this study were traditional Chinese medicine students, and the University of Phayao had about 84 volunteers. The instruments used in this study included an expectation questionnaire of clinical instructors, knowledge, ability, experiment, and personality aspects that the research team created on their own. Verify the accuracy of the content from experts. It has a consistency index value of 0.67-1.00. The reliability of the questionnaire was checked by testing it out (Try out) with 30 students at the University of Phayao who were not the sample of this research, then using the obtained data to find the value. Accuracy of the instrument Using the statistical analysis program IBM SPSS version 22, the reliability was 0.89. Statistical data were analyzed using descriptive statistics reported as mean and standard deviation.

            The results showed that the expectation score from the questionnaire was about expectations towards clinical practice in the areas of practice. It is at a very high level of expectation. As for the score of expectations for teachers at the training center, knowledge, ability Experience, and personality It is at the highest level of expectation.
