Abstract

             Requesting educational documents is one of the university's important mission of student services. However, the current information system used to support the operation of educational documents at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok was developed a decade ago and it is a closed system. Thus, every time students need to request educational documents, they must come to the university and do the requesting educational documents with staff directly. This process causes students to waste more time and traveling expenses unnecessarily. Moreover, the supervisor of the registration officer is still a lack of administrative and monitoring systems that can monitor the work performance of each staff.

             This research paper presents the design and development of the prototype of an educational document requesting management systems for King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok. Students can request educational documents and monitor their status via the web application. Moreover, the supervisor of the registration officer can view the staff performance report.

             From the usability test, we found that the average usability score of 10 students is 4.525 which is a very good level while the average usability score of 10 registration officers is 4.45 which is a good level.
