The staff’s Attitude towards the security of Dentistry, Mahidol University

This research aimed to study the attitudes of front office staff towards the safety system at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University. The feedbacks from staff enabled us to identify their needs and to help us improve the security environment for their work life and belongings.
This quantitative research used questionnaires for collecting data. Analysis of the questionnaires was carried out using SPSS for Windows version 18. The means for each question in the questionnaires were interpreted as follows: 4.51 – 5.00 Very much, 3.51 – 4.50 Much 2.51 – 3.50 Moderate 1.51 – 2.50 Less 1.00 – 1.50 Least
The results from this survey were collected from 300 respondents; female 241(80.3%) and male 59 (19.7%). The satisfaction feedback on the safety system can be described by: The physical environment inside the building: Very satisfied (average 4.51-5.00) / The traffic management and staff on duty: Satisfied up to Very satisfied / The security system in the working place: Mostly satisfied and appreciated
