Mahidol University’s Institutional Repository

Abstract

          Mahidol University’s Institutional Repository (Mahidol IR) has been designed for collecting,  preserving, and disseminating both published and unpublished scholarly works which are valuable intellectual outputs of Mahidol University staff in digital formats. The Mahidol IR can be accessed from Mahidol University Library webpage (www.li.mahidol.ac.th) or IR’s webpage (http://repository.li.mahidol.ac.th). This project has been done to support the vision and mission of Mahidol University aiming at achieving the goal of being a national research university. DSpace institutional repository application which offers  convenience for retrieving information has been applied. In addition, a search engine can also be used to get access to the Mahidol IR from everywhere at, everytime. To collaborate with other International Institutional repository networks. The Mahidol IR Uses Dublin Core metadata standard for describing items and  exchange linkage across various information management systems internationally.
