A Nursing care for cataract surgery patients who want to take care of complexities : 2 cases study

Abstract

Purposes : To study and compare nursing care for cataract surgery patients who want to take care of complexities 2 cases study.

Study design : Case study design

Materials and Methods : To study the comparison amongst two patients, purposive sampling is collect from cataract patients who want to take care of complexity. Study patient history, medical treatment by collecting information from the medical records of Roi-Et Hospital, using the concepts of Gordon's 11 health patterns. and nursing process in assessing health status. Set nursing diagnosis, planning and implementation according to nursing diagnoses. Then evaluate nursing outcomes for specific patients. Proceed between October - November 2023.

Main findings : From the study of two patients, it is found that they are improve vision, pain relieved, no incidents fall or infected and able to practice according to instruction.

Conclusion and recommendations : Nursing care cataract patients by implementing nursing practices are difficult and complexities because each patient has different symptoms and disease. In the matter of having to apply academic knowledge, various theories and expert skills of nursing care to the patient contextual, to keep patients safety.
